| Hartland being situated on the Peninsula means the area boasts stunning scenery and a variety of beaches as well as beautiful coastal walks. For the benefit of coastal walkers luggage transfer is available and can be arranged when booking. Established 3 generations ago the campsite is close to the centre of Hartland and yet remains truly rural. The flat or slightly sloping meadows, with thick Devon hedges, offer sheltered, secluded pitches with glorious views of the surrounding countryside and the rugged Atlantic coast. An easy three minute stroll will take you down to the “hub” of the village where you will find everything you need. From your morning newspaper and fresh loaf of bread to local craft shops providing wonderful gifts to take home. You will find a couple of great pubs serving food as well as a farm shop and a fish and chip shop. Alternatively a 20 minute journey in either direction will take you to either Bideford or Bude. You will be pleased to hear that if you are conscious of your carbon footprint local buses run regularly and you can catch them from our entrance. The campsite is beautifully maintained and offers many facilities including a new toilet and shower block with disabled access, BBQ and picnic area, electric hookups, ice pack and battery charging, a fully stocked fishing pond and much more. Suitable for tents, caravans and tourers. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there are woodland walks, streams and lanes just a few minutes down the road. They are situated side by side for the benefit of friends and families wishing to holiday together but enjoy the privacy of their own accommodation. A large garden gate separates the two gardens and can be left open to suit. Great for having everyone round for a BBQ! Each home has a stylish country feel, having been decorated using linen and accessories from companies like Laura Ashley and The White Co.
