Elmscott Hostel
| Elmscott Youth Hostel, which is privately owned is open all year round. The YHA Escape to scheme operates at Elmscott from 1 October - 1 April. There are amazing rock formations and many quiet lanes to explore. The famous fishing village of Clovelly is a few miles away with its cobbled streets and pretty harbour. Also nearby is Hartland Abbey where Sense and Sensibility was filmed. Elmscott is located a few minutes walk from the South West Coast Path which passes many spectacular coves and river mouths. The accommodation is in one unit of 20 beds and another of 12. It has mixed dorms, single sex dorms and private rooms. In winter it is only available for groups (of up tp 35 people). There is a kitchen, a well stocked shop in summer and a games room close by. Self catering only. |
