Hartland Quay Hotel
There has been an hotel at Hartland Quay since 1886 and it is owned by the Stucleys whose family seat is nearby Hartland Abbey. However, the hotel has been managed by three generations of the Johns family over four decades with Chris and Jill Johns being the present hosts. The Hotel has a resident’s lounge, large dining room and a public bar called the Wrecker’s Retreat. There are 17 bedrooms, 15 of them en-suite with the majority having spectacular views out across the Atlantic. All the bedrooms have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and heating.
