Take a ferry to Lundy Island

Catch the Oldenburg (or for a really special occasion go by helicopter) to visit this spectacularly beautiful, car-free island. Just 3 miles long and half a mile wide the whole island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and the surrounding waters are England’s only Marine Nature Reserve due to the incredible array of sea life and coral beds. This is a world apart: explore the secluded beaches, walk the wild western side or stroll on the sheltered eastern side, watch for dolphins, seals and puffins, kayak, dive and visit the Marisco Tavern.
