Sun 21st and Sun 28th April, Bluebell Days at Hartland Abbey, Hartland

The bluebells at Hartland Abbey stretch from the Walled Gardens to the sea. This year, the Abbey is holding two Bluebell Days so everyone can choose the best day to visit and see the beautiful house and grounds enhanced by the glorious bluebell haze.

There should be lots of other lovely plants out in the gardens; the early rhododendrons, camellias, tulips and later bulbs and early perennials amongst others. There will be plenty of opportunity for walking (including with your dogs) with 3½ miles within the Abbey grounds.

The house and grounds will be open on Sunday 21st and Sunday 28th April with the museum and shop open too. The Tea Rooms will be open on these days serving hot soup, light lunches and home made cream teas. Sam and Em Stone of Exmoor Kitchen will again be producing their wonderful homemade barbecue food on the two Sundays. Do come!
